Shining a Light on College Remediation in Colorado: The Predictive Utility of the ACT for Colorado and the Colorado Student Assessment Program - These findings suggest that a strategy of targeting efforts to improve all students' academic skills across all subgroups (ethnicity, socioeconomic status, students with disabilities) before they graduate from high school and enter postsecondary institutions, the workforce or the military could potentially reduce the amount of remediation required in postsecondary institutions.
