Document Number: 9888 EC E-Learning: A National Review of Early Childhood Education Distance Learning Programs - This report provides insight into distance learning programs and how they relate to early education professionals. About 73 programs were identified, typically housed in four-year colleges, to offer associate’s degrees, with some leading to bachelor’s and/or master’s. The report also outlined common challenges that these programs face when working with early education professionals: lack of basic academic skills and technological know-how, and work and family issues.
