National Assessment of Educational Progress - The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as "the Nation's Report Card," is the only nationally representative and continuing assessment of what America's students know and can do in various subject areas. Since 1969, assessments have been conducted periodically in reading, mathematics, science, writing, U.S. history, civics, geography and the arts. This site contains summaries of national and state test results, state profiles, publications, test questions, special studies, information and research pertaining to the NAEP exams and a link to NAEP's inclusion policy. The NAEP e-library provides various guides, manuals, and glossaries of NAEP terms, as well as access reports and resources....

The Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study - In 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2011, TIMSS-R collected data at the 4th- and 8th-grade levels to provide information about change in the mathematics and science achievement of our students compared to those in other nations. This Web site includes information on which countries participated, how student achievement was measured, what contextual information was collected and how to obtain the results....
