Consortium on Inclusive Schooling Practices (CISP) - The consortium represents a collaborative effort to build the capacity of state and local education agencies to serve children and youth with and without disabilities in school and community settings. Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) - CEC is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving education outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities and/or the gifted. National Assessment of Educational Progress - The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as "the Nation's Report Card," is the only nationally representative and continuing assessment of what America's students know and can do in various subject areas. Since 1969, assessments have been conducted periodically in reading, mathematics, science, writing, U.S. history, civics, geography and the arts. This site contains summaries of national and state test results, state profiles, publications, test questions, special studies, information and research pertaining to the NAEP exams and a link to NAEP's inclusion policy. National Center on Educational Outcomes (NCEO) - NCEO provides national leadership in the participation of students with disabilities in national and state assessments, standards-setting efforts and graduation requirements. National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY) - The center provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators and other professionals. Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) - This center, under the School Psychology and Special Education Project, has several studies and presentations online regarding assessment of students with disabilities.
