The PATHWISE Series - Research by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) shows a link between mentor-based induction programs for new teachers and improved student learning. ETS produced the PATHWISE Series, which offers a variety of professional development programs tied to research-based standards to help experienced, beginning and student teachers improve their teaching practices. Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) - This consortium of state education agencies, higher education institutions and national education organizations is dedicated to the reform of the education, licensing and professional development of teachers.
