Career Academies: Impacts on Students’ Engagement and Performance in High School - According to this study from the Manpower Demonstration Research Corporation, career academies are an effective means of preventing dropout, increasing school engagement, and helping students acquire the credentials they need to graduate and prepare for postsecondary education.
