Integrating Faith-Based Organizations Into State-Funded Pre-K Programs: Resolving Constitutional Conflict - This brief provides guidance on how faith-based organizations can participate in state-funded pre-k programs. It explains the federal and state laws that establish the separation of church and state principle, addresses key questions that all parties must ask when developing a publicly funded program in a faith-based setting, and provides examples of the precautions states have taken to ensure these programs operate legally.
