Choice of Schools--Choice/Open Enrollment


Under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, students in schools that fail to make adequate yearly progress (AYP) for two consecutive years can transfer to a better-performing school in their district. Technical assistance also must be provided to such schools.
