What To Wear:
Casual business attire is acceptable for most events; please dress comfortably. In July, average temperatures are around 90°F during the day and 73°F during the evening in Orlando. Business attire is requested for the James Bryant Conant Award banquet on Thursday evening. Also, because meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket to meeting sessions and outdoor functions.

Ground Transportation:
Mears Transportation is a regular shuttle service between Orlando International Airport and The Peabody Orlando Hotel. The cost is $15.00 per person one way, or $25.00 per person roundtrip. Upon arrival, you can purchase airport and attraction transportation at one of four Mears Motor Shuttle counters at the airport baggage claim on Level 2. All transportation will depart from Level 1. The counter personnel will direct you to your vehicle. You DO NOT need to make advance reservations. For transportation back to the airport, return reservations are required at least two hours before departure and can be made at the Mears desk in The Peabody Orlando Hotel lobby. Return shuttles depart 45 minutes past the hour, every hour. Taxi service is approximately $40.00 one way.

Reservations
You are responsible for arranging all hotel accommodations or cancellations. Rooms are limited, so book as early as possible!

Please call the Reservations Department directly at the main hotel number above or National Reservations at 1.800.PEABODY. Ask for the "Education Commission of the States" room block to ensure you get the group rate of $129 + 12.5% tax for a single- or double-bed room. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; check-out, 12:00 p.m. If you would like a confirmation number for your reservation, please ask the hotel reservations department for one when you make your reservation.

Reservations will not be accepted without a credit card number or deposit. The Peabody Orlando Hotel requires a one-night deposit by credit card. Your reservation will be guaranteed for late arrival.

Reservations must be received by The Peabody Orlando Hotel by June 18 to get the ECS group rate. Reservations made after this date can only be accepted on a space-available basis and not necessarily at the ECS group rate.

Be sure to ask for the Education Commission of the States room block to ensure you get the group rate.

Room Cancellation
Should it be necessary to cancel your reservation, please call the hotel main number at least 72 hours before arrival. If you fail to cancel your reservation within 72 hours of arrival, you will be charged for one night's room and tax.
