What To Wear Transportation
FlightsHotelThings To Do in Denver

What To Wear:
Casual business attire is acceptable for most events; please dress comfortably. In July, average temperatures in Denver are around 85°F during the day and 65°F during the evening. Business attire is requested for the James Bryant Conant Award banquet on Thursday evening. Also, because meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket to meeting sessions and outdoor functions.

Transportation:

Denver International Airport
Denver International Airport (DEN) combines safety, security, efficiency and beauty in providing a seamless experience for travelers. As the largest airport in the United States, DEN was designed to grow along with the aviation industry. DEN recently opened its sixth runway. At 16,000 feet (nearly 5,000 meters), this runway is the longest in North America.

Consistently rated as one of least-delayed airports in the nation, DEN's airfield design allows for quick turnarounds and efficient aircraft flow. These operational efficiencies translate into on-time arrivals and departures for passengers.

The major airlines that service the airport are:

Air Canada, AirTran, Alaska, America West, American, ATA, British Airways, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Great Lakes, JetBlue, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Midwest, Northwest, Sun Country, United and US Airways.

Ground Transportation:
SuperShuttle Denver Transportation is a regular shuttle service between Denver International Airport and the Adam's Mark Hotel. The cost is $18 per person one way or $32 per person round trip. Upon arrival, you can purchase airport transportation at the SuperShuttle Denver counter at the airport baggage claim on Level 5. When you come up the escalator from the train, turn to your right and you come to the SuperShuttle Denver counter. All transportation will depart from Level 5. The counter personnel will direct you to your vehicle. You DO NOT need to make advance reservations. For transportation back to the airport, return reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance prior to departure time. Taxi service is approximately $43 one way.

Please go to SuperShuttle Denver's Web site at www.supershuttledenver.com or call 800-525-3177 or 303-370-1300 for further information and detailed shuttle schedules.
