Christianna Hang CEO and school director, Hmong Academy, Minnesota Christianna Hang is the founder, CEO and school director of Hmong Academy, a charter high school that opened in fall 2004 with over 250 students. Hang is the first Hmong women to lead a successful opening of a Hmong-focused charter high school. The Academy is focused on Hmong literacy and culture integrated into all aspects of daily learning. She is currently in the process of obtaining her doctorate in organizational leadership and superintendency. Hang has entrepreneurial and management experience as a small business owner, with eight years of administrative/business experience and 10 years working within K-12 public school (both traditional and charter) administration offices.
