John Myers Vice President, Augenblick, Palaich and Associates, Inc., Colorado John L. Myers is vice president of Augenblick, Paliach and Associates (APA) since January 2005 owns the consulting firm of JL Myers Group. Previously, Myers was a partner in Augenblick & Myers, Inc., a firm specializing in education finance policy, and was the Education Program director for the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). Prior to working with NCSL, Myers served as executive assistant to the governor of Kansas and served six years as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives. He was the founding co-director of the National Association of Charter School Authorizers and director of the Colorado School Finance Project.
