Jennifer Frish is a 2005 graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. During her internship at the Institute for Mental Health Initiatives at George Washington University, she worked with four other college students to create an anger management curriculum for kindergartners. This prompted her interest in teaching, and she became a Chicago Teaching Fellow, earning a masters degree from National Louis University. She is now finishing her second year teaching kindergarten at Deneen School on Chicago’s south side. Jennifer has advocated for high-quality induction in Chicago and with policymakers in Washington, D.C.
