| 2005 ECS Chairman's Award
ECS each year honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions in an area related to its current chairman’s agenda. This year, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, whose 2004-06 chairmanship is focused on learning in and through the arts, chose to recognize Plácido Domingo for his work in promoting opera, music appreciation and education for young people throughout the world.
