September/October 2010
- Sites provide RMC with the names of districts, schools and teachers for service-learning classrooms.
- Sites identify comparison classrooms to ECS. Once identified, sites provide RMC with the names of districts, schools and teachers for comparison classrooms.
- Parent permission forms emailed to sites.
- Instructions for survey administration and online student pre-survey accessible on ECS' website (schools without access to computers can request scannable hard copies from ECS).
December 2010/January 2011
- Sites administer student post-surveys for fall semester programs.
January 2011
- Sites administer student pre-surveys for both service-learning and comparison classrooms for spring semester programs.
May 2011
- Sites administer student post-surveys for spring semester/year-long programs.
- Sites administer online teacher post-surveys.
- Administrators and community partners complete online post-surveys.
- Completed parent permission forms for spring semester programs/year-long programs sent to RMC Research.
- Class rosters with student birthdates and ID numbers sent to RMC Research.
- Schools of Success SHOWCASE, May 5-6, 2011, in Nashville, Tennessee. This important element of the Schools of Success initiative will convene the schools in order to: 1) showcase service-learning projects, 2) share best practices/challenges, etc., and 3) receive professional development around designing and implementing high-quality service-learning.
June 2011
- LEARN & SERVE SCHOOLS ONLY — LASSIE DATA DUE.
