To Track State Policies
State policy developments have been constantly tracked as far back as 1994. In addition to viewing legislation by year, users may sort policies by:
On the States & Territories page, ECS maintains information – including links to education statutes, relevant state Web sites and newspapers – for all 50 states and three territories. Users may select a state by clicking on it or using the pull-down menu. Alternately, users may access links on the left to view ECS 50-state reports and databases, delve into state policy developments or generate 50-state reports on select information.
To Find and Utilize ECS Work
In addition to locating and disseminating the high-quality work of others, ECS staff produces original research of their own, including:

Progress of Education Reform – A quarterly publication addressing the hottest education issues, providing information in a concise and easy-to-read format based on the most recent studies and reports

To Find Information on Upcoming ECS Meetings
ECS' core purpose is to enable state leaders to connect with each other and learn. In fulfilling this mission, ECS holds several meetings a year, the largest being the ECS National Forum on Education Policy, which brings together state leaders including legislators, governors, state board members and department of education staff.
