Bringing High School Students to College Readiness - Before High School Graduation: What Do Research and Experience Tell Us, and Where Do We Go From Here? (archive)

Barriers to attaining college readiness while students are still in high school are addressed here, including lack of statewide policies addressing remediation and a lack of student data. Strategies states can apply may be grouped under five actions: get adults to work together, do right by students, drive improvements in instruction, facilitate structural options in course or instructional module delivery and evaluate processes and systems.
