Reinvigorating K-12 Science Education

The 2019 National Assessment of Educational Progress in Science offers timely insights into the challenges states faced while implementing new academic standards that focus on scientific inquiry, engineering and technology. They also provide a critical baseline for measuring the damage the pandemic has done since.

Read more in this Special Report, which examines the NAEP results and considers state policies that can support K-12 science education reforms as schools recover.
