Alyssa Evans joined Education Commission of the States in September 2018 as a policy researcher. Prior, she worked at a Colorado nonprofit focused on civic engagement, the Colorado General Assembly and most recently, a special tribunal in The Hague. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Denver and a master’s degree in public policy and international law from the American University of Paris. When she’s not in the office, Alyssa likes exploring the local food scene and taking her dog on outdoor adventures, and she is always on the lookout for new podcasts or books.
