As the Strategic Partnerships Lead Consultant, Elson focuses on building and sustaining strategic relationships that support the Commission’s mission, impact and fundraising capacity. Elson comes to Education Commission of the States with more than 30 years of experience at the federal and state level working on numerous partnerships between K-12 and postsecondary issues during his career. Beyond a commitment to support P-20 place-based programs for students and families, Elson has a passion for the outdoors and the arts.
