Our policy staff gathered information on the American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Relief plans submitted by state education agencies. They looked for trends in where money is going and what states and local districts are doing to accelerate student learning and meet the needs of different student groups. Our response includes a review of state plans with a focus on overall state priorities, state reported or planned spending and strategies for accelerating student learning. To provide timely assistance to our constituents, State Information Requests are typically completed in 48 hours. They reflect an issue scan versus a comprehensive analysis.
