A state department of education staff member asked for information on the use of student test scores in teacher evaluations across the 50 states. Our response included a national snapshot on the status of teacher evaluations, an update on the implementation of state evaluation systems and a summary of evaluation requirements under ESSA, as well as a list of recently enacted state policies concerning teacher evaluations.
