3 Reasons to Join Us at the 2022 National Forum on Education Policy

After two years of convening virtually, we’re returning in person for our 2022 National Forum on Education Policy July 13-15, and we hope you’ll join us!

Do you have questions about how to support students following interrupted learning? Then you don’t want to miss our opening plenary session featuring innovative state policies that seek to recover and accelerate learning following pandemic disruptions.

Are you interested in ways to strengthen your state’s teacher workforce? We’re excited to host the 2021 National Teacher of the Year, Julie Urtubey, who will share strategies to develop systems and policies that support educators.

We have an impressive lineup of education policy content, expert speakers and many opportunities to connect with state leaders from across the country to address the most pressing issues in your state. Still deciding if you’ll attend? You have two weeks left to register. Here are three reasons why you don’t want to miss our event in July:

1. Unique in-person networking opportunities with state leaders and policy experts from across the country. We’ve scheduled multiple opportunities for you to network, including social hours and networking lunches and breakfasts. We’ll facilitate cross-state learning and help you connect with people who align with your goals and interests. It’s rare to get so many experts and peers together in one room, so we invite you to take advantage of this special opportunity.

2. Timely, expert panels featuring top education leaders and policymakers. You’ll hear from state education chiefs and state workforce leaders who will offer guidance on the future of education. The panelists will discuss how to chart a path forward in education following pandemic disruptions, how to scale solutions to inequities in education and how to strengthen state workforces for a better economy.

3. Sixteen concurrent sessions that address the most pressing education policy topics in states. ECS policy staff is working hard to create dynamic sessions that address the most relevant education policy topics in your state. Day One includes sessions on postsecondary attainment, student mental wellness and early literacy education. Day Two tackles K-12 funding, P-20 enrollment declines and student-centered learning policies.

This is just a quick look at all the great opportunities waiting for you at National Forum. Check out the schedule at a glance on our event site to learn more and register today to join us as we work to build strong and equitable education policies for students and staff across the country. To receive the best price and save your spot, you must confirm your lodging before May 31. Reserve your accommodations today!
