A peer organization asked how states are supporting the development of pre-employment skills for high school students. Our response includes a brief overview of career and technical education, industry certification attainment, high school graduation requirements and work-based learning as they relate to pre-employment activities in high school. To provide timely assistance to our constituents, State Information Requests are typically completed in 48 hours. They reflect an issue scan versus a comprehensive analysis.
